lol, brilliant, there are so many and some of them are used by different people for different things. DID YOU KNOW, cockney rhyming slang was invented in the west of london by thieves robbers and criminals so that they could discuss crimes and robberies without people and the peelers (police) understanding what they were talking about?

Lady Godiva - Fiver (Five Pound Note)
Apples and Pears - Stairs
tin tack - sack (fired or made redundant)
whistle and flute - suit
Scooby doo - clue (as in I haven't got a scooby)

More often than not these are shortened to confuse things even more so a suit would be a whistle.

Example "get up them apples, grab your whistle and scoobies and I'll give you a lady"
Means "get up them stairs, grab your suit and shoes and I'll give you five pounds"

love it
